Has anyone tried the Timelapse + with a Olympus E-M5 or E-M1?
I wonder if its possible for auto brambing, iso adjust etc. on those cameras.
That's right, it's pretty much the same. Many customers have used the TL+ with a Panasonic camera, but only in the standard time-lapse mode. We had one customer that was trying to get the TL+ to work with the GH4, and he discovered that he had some USB capability, but he was only able to get shutter control in time-lapse mode. The customer got a response when he clicked "Connect -> USB", and the camera make showed up on the display, but nothing else. In order for bulb-ramping to work, shutter speed, aperture, and ISO must also appear on the display. If these parameters don't appear, they can't be controlled, and bulb-ramping wouldn't be possible.
It is possible to control the aperture
and ISO via USB, but it can only be done with the proprietary
"Promote Control Software" that runs on a PC, laptop, or
the Promote Controller device. This software is not standard on the
TL+, which uses the standard PTP request/response protocol.
If the Panasonic GH4 is used in the basic time-lapse mode, it would probably use the P3 cable as shown on: http://www.timelapseplus.com/adaptor-cables.
Same goes for Panasonic GH4?
